What Is SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise)?

Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) is an international not-for-profit which endeavors to bring together the top leaders of today and tomorrow to create a better, more sustainable world through the positive power of business.University teams of students worldwide bring to life educational, ethical and business savvy programs that improve the quality of life and standard of living for others.

Each year these leaders of tomorrow are challenged to develop community outreach projects that can shift paradigms. SIFE has grown exponentially since its beginnings in 1975 to grow to over 48, 000 highly dedicated student volunteers operating on more than 1500 university campuses in 39 countries.

AUT University has been an active participant since 2004.  Students form teams and apply business concepts to develop community outreach, educational and consultancy projects.
