Who is SIFE AUT?

SIFE AUT is a non-profit organisation operating under the Business Faculty of AUT University. SIFE AUT was established in 2002 and has grown from 4 members into a thriving organization of over 50 members running multiple projects simultaneously.

We develop solutions to real world challenges in our own communities. We do this by creating projects with a focus on educating others, improving their quality of life and standard of living. Our efforts result in bettering communities with a sustainable long term focus.

SIFE AUT volunteers operate under supervision of a Faculty Advisor and the Executive Team. Each team is responsible for developing the scope of their project, actively seeking sponsorship to sustain their operations and ensuring that they meet every deadline set for them by Executive team and the client.

We love hearing about the wonderful work that SIFE AUT students go on to achieve, We also welcome their involvement and input after they graduate. So to help us remain connected with all of our former SIFE members, students who have been members of SIFE AUT for at least one full semester are encouraged to join the SIFE New Zealand Alumni Association.
